 This was my 12 hour times art exam, first person in my area to do it digitally and first in my school to even know what digital art is  Actual size is 90cm x 60cm, huuuge file and huge pain in the backside to work with It is quite a complicated explanation as to what this piece represents, but it is in its most basic sense, it represents how my Grandma has influenced the shaping of my creativity and about reminiscing and cherishing old memories as well as shaping your future... all the little details are symbolic for various things Bird references by  Please check out these closeups, the piece is so detailed it's a shame to have to have it so small on dA: [link] Check out the hidden paintbrush in the reeds! [link] [link] [link] [link] [link] [link] [link] As my first '  roper' piece of digital art, I am so pleased with it - I may amend tiny details for the final canvas print for my exhibition, but this is the result of the 12 hour timed piece. I learned so much doing this piece, and I hope that I get better over the summer with more practice! |
