| Prints: [link] As of January 2012, 50% of the proceeds from the sale of this print will be donated to ZSL's Tiger SOS fundraising campaign. Tigers are one of the most beautiful creatures on the planet (probably my favourite animal!) and the number of Sumatran tigers left in the world is less that 300 and dwindling. Over the last decade, the wild tiger population has been decimated, with a massive 95% drop in numbers. This is disgraceful and largely down to us humans destroying their habitats and poaching them. What a great species, eh. ZSL (the Zoological Society of London) is running a fundraising scheme in order to support their three tiger conservation projects in Indonesia. They are also developing a state-of-the-art tiger conservation headquarters here in London. As a tiger-lover, I want to contribute funds to this fantastic cause and am going to be doing so by donating 50% of the money from sales of this print to Tiger SOS. Your purchase will be greatly appreciated by both myself and the tigers. For more information, please visit their website and have a read - [link] |
