First silicone bust! (Not surgery)...

Sun Oct 25, 2009, 3:50 AM
Hello!

I finished my FX course on Friday, it was an amazing experience :) Incredibly challenging for someone who hasn't worked hardly at all in 3D, let alone made moulds or poured silicone etc before! I've learned SO much, and i'm going to continue sculpting to improve my skills and maybe in a year or so think about taking it a bit further. But please have a look at my final piece, i'm really happy with it! A huge thank you to Pete Tindall (my tutor) for all his help and guidance throughout the process :)

Back to work at MILAEON tomorrow, which will be nice! Catch up on the 7 weeks of shoots etc i've been missing!

Hope everyone is well... I'm still painting that picture I posted a WIP of a while ago with the lady and the cats, but it was for a competition which I missed the deadline for, so i'll carry on with it and definitely want to finish it very soon!

Much love,

B xxx

Your gallery is great!
And if I may ask, what's the deal with the Pandora's Box? Are the creatures from your own mind or do you make them from something? I really like them, anyway ^^

Thank you so much! :D

The Pandora's Box thing is my Final Major Project for my art foundation year course. I'm doing illustration, but as you can see, I sidetracked into experimenting with polymer clay sculpts :) We wrote our own briefs and I wanted to make something weird, as usual... and have :)

haha yes the creatures are all from my slightly warped imagination :)

Thank you again!
